Personal Blogs, On-Line Resumes, Simple or Complex Business Sites & eCommerce Sites

It used to be that having a website was an expensive affair; generally only for larger organizations or businesses…but no more.  For as little as $10 a month you can have your own website for yourself, your family or your business. We can get it set up for you and then teach you how to maintain it yourself or we can do it all for you from start to finish.

Have your own blog,

share your photos,

sell your handiwork…

even have your own personal email address…. yourname@whateveryouwant.com!

If you’re a business owner, it has become the expectation that you will have a website for your business – even if just for displaying contact information, business hours and a map showing your location.  A web presence for your business is no longer the exception to the rule – it pretty much IS the rule.

The types of web sites vary and they type you need depends upon your business and your goals.  Here are some examples..

Informational
  • Simple 1 to 5 page static website with your office and contact information.  With this type of site, the information seldom changes – for the most part, remaining static.  Generally this type of site will contain an introductory page, an ‘about us’ page, a contact page, maybe an owner biography page – you get the idea.
E-commerce
  • This type of web site is set up for the business wishing to sell products.  Generally, this site will contain the same types of pages as the informational site but with added sections for products, shopping cart, shipping information and so on.  In the past, you would have had to go through the whole hassle of setting up a merchant account and going through the hassle of setting up credit card acceptance.  Now, with companies such as PayPal, setting this an E-Commerce site is much less painful, much less expensive and much more enjoyable to run.
Web Blog
  • A web blog is a personal journal published on the Web consisting of discrete entries (“posts”) typically displayed in reverse chronological order so the most recent post appears first. Blogs are usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and often are themed on a single subject. There are many reasons to publish a blog: as a form of personal expression, to disseminate information, to gather like people for open discussion.
Portfolio Site
  • For the artist, writer, photographer or expressionist in all of us, the portfolio web site allows us to present our artistry in beautiful fashion. These sites generally have very artistic ways to show photographs, post videos display handiwork and provide a means to show off our talent
